Is money making you rich?

You hear a lot people say that money makes you rich. But is it true that money makes you rich? Or are there other things in life that make you rich? 

A few days ago someone I know showed me this video. Bob Marley tells that money doesn't make him rich. Even possesions, things you have, don't make him rich. The only thing that makes him rich is life. 

The last couple of years I changed a lot. I also changed my way of thinking about life and richness. You need money to buy the essentials things. I know that. But is money the most important thing in life to make you rich. 

Richness can go much further then only money. You can also be rich in your heart and life. You don't need the newest phone, car or the biggest house. It's up to you to make your own richness. Your richness can be someone you like or love, a friendship but also taking some me-time and listening to the things you want to do.

Like I told you already, I changed my way of thinking the last couple of years. I saw what the world really is and that you need to be happy with what you have. Because not everyone has the same things as you. Some people have less and some have more. But if you're happy with what you have and with the things that makes you happy then you're doing a great job to be yourself and making YOUR richness.

What I also learned and still learning is that you don't need to look at what others have. It's not their life you live it's your life. For me this is still difficult because I'm still looking at what other people have or where they are in life. Then I'm thinking I'm not good. Am I really not good? No, not at all will a lot of people tell me. I just don't have the same things as other people but it's my life. I do what I want to do and I go as fast as I want in life. For me this is also richness. Seeing that I live my life as I want it and not looking at others their life. 

Even when you look in a dictionary and look for the word 'richness' the definition isn't about money. It's about something desirable, something you really like and something you want to have a lot of it. 

So you see. Richness isn't about having a lot of money. It's about your life and living your life to the fullest like you want.
