Saying thank you

Have you ever said thank you to a good friend or a lover? If the answer is yes, do you find saying thank you important? Or are you just doing it because it's a form of politeness? If you said no, why did you never have said thank you before? 

I'm saying a lot thank you and maybe a bit to much. But better to much then not at all. For me it's a form of politeness. If you received something or someone helped you my reflex is saying thank you. It're just two words not less and not more. 

I can imagine that you don't say thank you all the time. Maybe if you don't like the person that helped you or if you're upset or sad. But it's better to say thank you all the time even if you're upset. Try it and the good things will come back to you. That person will like helping you and is happy that you're thankful. 

Some children in my class refuse to say thank you to other children. They 'hate' them and say that they never going to say thank you to someone who's not good for you. Even if they do one good thing they refuse. I don't think it's not a good attitude. If the.y really need help one day no one will help them anymore. 

Saying thank you shows other people that you spread positivity. In the world we need more kind people. People who spread the positive vibes. So one thing you can already do is saying thank you. It's something small. But better do something then doing nothing. 

For me not saying thank you can be rude. If someone helped you and you don't say thank you is that kind of you? Think for yourself. If you helped someone and that person didn't say thank you, would you like that? I wouldn't like it to be honest. I would feel like why did I helped that person. Do they care about my help or am I just standing in their way? So saying thank you will show you you appreciate the work and the things others do for you.

Also saying thank you from time to time to people who like to listen to your stories or crazy thoughts can be great.
